There are many walking trails to enjoy only minutes away from the motel, not to mention the lake and beach area across the road from the motel.
Pets are subject to additional pet charges of $8.00/night and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, inside and outside.
Noisy pets must not be left in the units unattended and should be kept on a leash while on motel grounds. |

SS Moyie Sternwheeler:
The SS Moyie is the oldest surviving intact vessel of her type in the world. Berthed at the edge of Kootenay Lake, the sternwheeler rests permanently in her former port of call at Kaslo.
Glass House:
Across the lake, in Boswell you can visit the Glass House built from half a million empty, square embalming fluid bottles.
Hiking:
There are hiking trails to the Kokanee Glacier and the more difficult 2-km Fletcher Lake Trail (92-meter elevation gain).
Fishing:
Kokanee Creek and Kootenay Lake have some of the best fishing around. Various species like: kokanee, rainbow and cutthroat trout, dolly varden, burbot, and whitefish swim these waters. Charter fishing are rental boats are available.

Kokanee Springs (18 Hole Championship Course), offering free ferry shuttle from Crawford Bay to Balfour; and Balfour Golf Course (only 15 minute drive from motel).
Our golf packages not only offer you discounted accommodation and golfing rates but we are pleased to make your Tee-times for you to ensure availability on arrival. Many of our golfers try to golf both 18 hole courses as they are so close to one another. They are both equally challenging and scenic.
There are other challenging and beautiful golf courses nearby, such as: Kaslo, Nelson's Granite Pointe, Castlegar Champion Lakes Golf Course, Rossland/Trail Golf & Country Club, plus many more, in this golfer's paradise!
