Pets Welcome at the Mermaid!
There are many walking trails to enjoy only minutes away from the motel, not to mention the lake and beach area across the road from the motel.
Pets are subject to additional pet charges of $10.00/night and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, inside and outside.
Aggressive dogs should be kept on a leash while on motel grounds.
SALES TAXES
Effective March 1, 2010, all motel
accommodation in BC will be subject to sales
taxes of 2% PST and 12% HST and must be
added to the prices quoted herein.

note that our rates are considerably lower than the Hot
Springs hotel rates as they do not include passes to the hot
springs attraction. When our accommodation rates and the
cost of pool passes are combined, we are still the most
reasonably priced facility in the area. We are the only
pet-friendly facility in town and have 2 smoking units
available for guests who prefer to smoke indoors. Our
remaining non-smoking units have private balconies that
provide ashtrays for smokers to utilize outdoors.

Sleeping Units
The motel style sleeping units are self-contained, with no kitchenette facilities, only an in-room coffee maker. They contain 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 1 sofa-bed, a washroom with toilet, sink $ shower and balconies with lake & mountain views. They are capable of sleeping up to 6 persons, depending upon age.
Microwave rentals are available at $5.00 per day. |

Kitchenette Units
The motel style kitchenette units are self-contained, with full kitchenette facilities to serve up to 6 persons. They have a 4-burner range with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, eating and cooking utensils,
etc. Microwave ovens may be rented for $5.00 per day. Each motel kitchenette contains 1 double sofa-bed, 1 ¾ size futon bed in the dining area, as well as 1 small separate bedroom with a double bed, a washroom with toilet, sink & shower and balconies with lake & mountain views. They are capable of sleeping up to 6 persons, depending upon age and are the most popular family units at the Mermaid.
All Mermaid guests have year-round
access to our on-site outdoor barbecue and Jacuzzi hot
tub.
